It has been a long time since I have reviewed a clone device of popular smartphone in the market. XOLO has launched its latest Windows 8.1 based mobile in the market at a very cheap price of Rs. 8499 only. The device looks like high-end HTC Smartphone but it is not a clone device. The design of XOLO Win Q1000 mobile looks similar to the HTC mobile. In the previous post I have talked about upcoming Asus Zenfone 2 and how the device has changed the Indian Market in terms of pricing of Mobiles with 2GB RAM. Well XOLO Win Q1000 doesn’t offer much revolutionary features other than running on latest Windows 8.1 Mobile Operating System. I strongly believe that when consumer goes to buy a mobile phone he/she looks for attractive and bold design rather than going much in technical aspect of the device. For Design loving consumers XOLO Win Q1000 doesn’t disappoint as it comes in very unique Green Color other than Black and White. Green Color provides an extra feather to the HTC lookalike Mobile Phone.
Coming to the technical specifications of the device, it has 5 inch 720p HIGH-DEFINITON Display Screen with IPS-OGS technology. There is no mention of Gorilla Glass protection which is a bit of disappointment as most the device in the same price range offers such protection. Q1000 Mobile is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) processor with 400 MHz Adreno 302 GPU.
