In the recent Mobile world Congress 2013 concluded in Barcelona, Huawei has announced two Budget Range Smartphones; Huawei Ascend G510 and Huawei Ascend Y300. Now both the Mobiles are available for buy from online retailer Flipkart.

Huawei Ascend G510 Smartphone Reviews and Specifications

After announcement in MWC 2013, Huawei G510 Smartphone has been put online for sale at Rs. 10,990/- INR from Online retailer Flipkart. Huawei G510 Mobile has a 4.5 inch capacitive touchscreen with IPS Display technology which supports screen resolution up to 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered with 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor with 512 MB of RAM. It runs on the latest Operating System from Google – Android Jelly Bean Operating System version 4.1. Huawei has packed the device with 5.0 MP rear with LED Flash and 0.3 MP front facing camera.

You can make High Definition video calls from the device as it is a 3G device and you can also access internet with WI-Fi Connection. Internal Storage of Huawei Ascend G510 Smartphone is 4GB which can be expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. Battery Capacity of the device is not so great, it has only 1,750 mAh which can hold the device up to 5.9 hours of talktime and up to 340 hours standby.

Huawei Ascend Y300 Smartphone Reviews and Specifications

Another Mobile which is announced at MWC 2013 is Huawei Ascend Y300 which has 4.0 inch display screen with IPS Technology and can support resolution up to 800 x 480 pixels. Although it has IPS display but screen resolution does not confirm this as IPS screen provides resolution up to 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered with 1.0 GHz dual core processor which is supported by 512MB of RAM. Huawei Ascend Y300 Mobile runs on Android Jelly Bean OS version 4.1 out of the box.

You can capture daily moments of your life from 5.0 MP rear camera which also supports LED Flash so capturing pictures in low lighting areas will also offer sharp images. Being a 3G device you can make video calls from front facing camera of 0.3 MP. Internal Storage of the device is 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. Battery Capacity is almost same as that of Huawei Ascend G510, it has 1,730 mAh Battery which can hold up device for 5.3 hours of talktime and up to 320 hours standby

Verdict: After going through the features of Huawei Ascend G510 and Huawei Y300 Smartphone, I believe that Huawei Ascend Y300 is a better choice to buy because of the fact that there are only least difference in the specifications such as Screen is 4.0 inch compare to 4.3 inch of Ascend G510 and slight less cycle speed of Processor. If you look this are not such major differences for which spending Rs. 3,000(approx.) more.
