Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Launched in India for Rs. 11900 – Moto G Alternative

Since the launch of Motorola devices, every other company is trying to launch their mobiles in the same price range. Asus and Xiaomi are the latest companies to come with affordable Smartphone’s in India. Now Samsung has announced the launch of Galaxy Core 2 device that is available for a price of Rs. 11900 in India. Samsung has launched the device in the same price range as Motorola Moto G. Features of Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Mobile Phone

Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Mobile has 4.5 inch WVGA display screen with maximum resolution up to 800×480 pixels. Motorola Moto G has better display screen with highest resolution up to 1280×720 pixels and corning gorilla glass protection also. The device is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor paired with 768MB of RAM. If we compare the specifications with Motorola Moto G, then Moto G is better than Samsung Galaxy Core 2 mobile. Moto G comes with Quad-Core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

Both the devices runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat Operating System out of the box and Moto G is currently receiving the latest 4.4.4 Kitkat update for new dialer UI. Coming to the camera specification of Samsung Galaxy Core 2, it comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash same as in Moto G and front facing VGA camera for video calls.

There is a big difference in internal storage feature, Samsung Galaxy Core 2 mobile comes with 4GB ROM that can be expandable up to 64GB with microSD card. On the other hand Moto G comes in two variants 8/16GB but internal storage in not expandable which is huge disadvantage. One more difference is the weight and thickness of the devices, Samsung Galaxy core 2 is less thick(only 9.8mm) than Moto G and also weighs less than Motorola device.
