The exam is held for the selection of eligible candidates to various technical and non-technical positions and is conducted by the Railway Authorities under the Central Government of India.
The Railway Recruitment Board has officially invited applicants for the various vacancies available in 2019.

RRB NTPC Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions before applying for the exam:
- Nationality:
- A candidate must be an Indian citizen or a subject of Nepal and Bhutan.
- Any person having an Indian origin and has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam are also eligible to apply.
- A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 for permanent settlement can also apply for the exam.
- Educational Qualification:
