I fact,I have buy one last weekend, received the package this Friday, it is perfect!
First ,it value this price,Rom is 12GB. then, all specification is better than S3.
Especially its cover, my friend have ordered a cover on ebay, it need 15usd to get that,but for orent n9500 ,it is a gift.
But,some time you need to uninstall some app in Chinese.
I received last week the Orient N9500??. Unfortunately, the GPS and the compass does not work. I’ve already reported the bug. Let’s see what comes out.
It has all changed for the better. GPS works now. Overall, a decent and fast smartphone.

I also have one of those phones. I tried to set the GPS working for a while and then give it up…The trick to put it working is just to wait 15min…more or less and then it start working. The first time it takes longer but than it just works normal…my experience with others phones are better, maybe this one just takes longer.
Is it true that the firmware in these Chinese clones is very bad and causes a lot of trouble or is that just big brand propaganda?

The problem is both the hardware & software – you should check these following aspects which are very weak in Chinese clones – the microphone quality during phone call is poor & your call partner will complain of bad sound – also the adjusting of software is not complete & will result in unstable behaviour – such as screen is running without touching it , phone call can not be answered, aplications will force closing etc. Proximity sensor is not functioning well and will cause problems during phone calls as you will accidently push the bottuns by your cheek. It is rare to find a good camera in these clones – although the specs. promise high performance still you will find the quality of photos very poor no t to mention night shots…A famous problem with the accessories is very weak charger…
