Micromax recently launched its latest device with the brand name Canvas Xpress 2 at a very cheap price of just Rs. 5,999/-. I know there are lots of mobiles in the same price range but none of the mobile comes with Octa-Core processor. Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 is going to compete with its rivals Motorola Moto E and Xiaomi Redmi 2 on every aspect. In the same price range all three mobiles have certain benefits over the other. In this post I am going to compare the three cheap budget devices in detail:
Comparison between Canvas Xpress 2, Moto E (2nd Gen) and Redmi 2 Mobile
Xpress 2 comes with 5 inch 720p HD display screen with maximum resolution up to 1280×720 pixels. To keep the scratches away from screen, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and NDR/Oleophobic coating for Fingerprint resistance. On the other hand Moto E comes with 4.5 inch TFT LCD display screen and maximum resolution up to 960×540 pixels. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Anti-smudge Coating for screen protection. Redmi 2 has 4.7 inch fully laminated IPS 720p HD display screen with 178 degree wide viewing angle.
Both Moto E and Redmi 2 are powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-Core chipset. But Micromax has gone one step further by launching a 6k mobile with 1.4GHz Cortex A7 Octa-Core processor from Mediatek.
All three devices comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal ROM storage. There is nothing much to choose here apart from the fact that Redmi 2 allows you to use up to 5.75GB of space which is not available in other two devices. But you can expand the storage space by using microSD card in all devices.
Micromax Xpress 2 comes with 13MP rear camera with LED flash and Autofocus features which is never heard in a 6000 budget price phone. You can click HD photos and record FULL HD videos with it. Xpress 2 also comes with 2MP front camera to click selfie and make video calls. On the other hand Redmi 2 comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera. Moto E(2nd gen) features 5MP rear camera with NO LED Flash and only 0.3 MP VGA Front camera.
Micromax Xpress 2 comes with only 3G technology but Moto E has the option of choosing between 3G and 4G. But Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with both 3G and 4G technology for high-speed internet access.
Xpress 2 has the biggest battery capacity of 2500mAh but other two devices also comes with good batteries. Moto E features 2390mAh Battery and Redmi 2 comes with 2200mAh Li-Ion Polymer Battery.
