It seems that every Mobile company is on run to launch their Smartphone’s in Indian Market. Earlier we have seen the launch of Micromax A116 canvas HD, Karbonn Titanium S1 etc. and now the turn is of HTC to launch its latest Smartphone which is Android based. Name of the device is HTC Desire U which is going to be budget phone according to rumors and expected to be on the same segment as Samsung’s Galaxy S III mini.

As is android based phone it comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. ICS Android Operating system is old and a disappointing feature to me as most of newly launching phones are coming with Jelly Bean preloaded. Display of the screen is 4.o inch super LCD with resolution of 800×480 pixels which is OK  I said OK because Micromax has launch its phone with IPS display and higher resolution and most of the phones are coming in higher resolutions and good IPS screen in less price. If we look at the performance of the device, then it comes with 1.0 GHz processor with 512 MB Ram which should allow running of most of games smoothly. Internal memory is 4GB which is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card. As it is seen that now phones are not only used to make calls or watch movie, well they are now turning into professional photography device. HTC has also put good camera with 5.0 MP rear camera with LED Flash.
