Want to send emails with heavy attachments and wondering how to do this, then Gmail is the answer. Recently Google started floating email compose box in Gmail which allows the user to compose and read email simultaneously. This floating compose box is itself a very interested addition by Google in Gmail and in latest update to the compose box Google incorporated the option of Google drive which allows the users to attach files upto 10GB in size. This is very good addition as earlier Gmail used to allow attachment upto 25MB in size.
Step by Step Guide to Send Files up to 10 GB with Gmail
1. Login in to your Gmail account and make sure that you have the latest Floating compose box enabled
2. Start composing new message and enter all the basic details like sender’s email address, subject and content of the email.
3. Hover over the “+” icon to attach the files and there you can see option of Google Drive as shown in the figure below.
4. Click Google Drive icon and upload the files from upload box as shown in the figure below. Upload your files from your PC or system and send the attachment to the sender.
