How to Hide SMS and Call Logs on Android with Shady Contacts

I have tried 2-3 apps out of which Last One “Hide SMS Text Contact Calls” is perfect for me. It does lots of things in one app only. I would recommend this as it is simple to use and very effective and unique features like:
1. Phone In Other Hand : In this mode you can handover your phone to anybody as all private list contacts will be hidden and you can see those while you got the phone.
2. For each contact you can add hint text …that will help you to identify the private caller.

The application allows you to hide incoming and outgoing sms. Just choose the contacts you want to “protect” and the application does the rest.
You can also send text messages directly from the application and they will be invisible outside of the application.

I think the best App for hiding SMS and its history logs is Go SMS Pro. It could be selected as your messenger and works perfect.
if you put these apps on your phone will anything show up on your bill like the number and time/date?
What about compatibility. I used Hide My Text the app is not compatible with Google Hangouts and/or Twitter.
Also the apps mentioned here are not compatible with Kitkat. Would be interested to know if there are similar apps compatible to Kitkat.
