How to Use ID Card Workshop
In this tutorial I am going to focus on generating dynamic ID Card with database values. First you need to download and install ID Card Workshop software from official website. Open the software and click on “Records Manager” menu as shown in the image below:
Create New Project or select existing project to work with. For this demo I am selecting one of the projects from list of earlier created projects and Click “OK” to go ahead further.
Now you can see existing database values that comes with Demo project selected. You can enter new records according to your need like shown in the image below:
Once you are done with the database, it’s time to create ID Cards from database values. Click on “Card Designer” Menu item and Select the project.
Now you will see an editor page with all the elements of ID card. You can arrange them as per your need. After that click on Preview button to see how it works, following are two different images that are created by the software for two different database entries.
To start the printing process, Click on the “Print” button and select the database values for which you need ID card.
That’s it and now will see different ID cards with different values.
