Installing Genymotion on your system is a very simple process and go ahead like any other normal software installation. First you need to register your email id on GenyMotion website and download the bundled software containing both genymotion and Virtual Box. After that visit Order page to select your version of Genymotion and start the download. Click on download button under the label “Download ready-to-run Genymotion installer for Windows“.
Now install the downloaded file like any normal software installation. After completion open Genymotion software and you will see an alert box like shown below. Click on Yes to add virtual device
Now Click on Connect and add the credentials created during SignUp process. Click on Connect button to start adding Android Virtual device
After a while, you will see a list of Available Virtual devices like HTC One, Nexus 4, Galaxy and so on. Select the one that suits your need best and Click on Next.
In the next step, you will see all the configuration details of your Virtual Android Machine. Name the machine as per your need, like I named as “Technokarak-Testing“.
That’s it and Genymotion will download the install the selected Android version on your Virtual Box. You don’t have to format or create a partition of your Harddisk like in the traditional installation of the Android OS on Virtual Box. Now you will see the created Virtual devices on the window. Select it and click on “Play” button to start the Android Operating System.
