When you open the software you will see three buttons and one of them is “Boot Time Test” as you can see below in the screenshot.
Click on the button to Check PC Boot Time which will show a message “BootRacer will measure your Windows Boot Time on the next reboot” with options to restart your computer now or later. Click on “Yes” Button
Wait for complete system restart, when it is done you will see timer pop-up in the lower right corner of your desktop just like shown below.
Just wait for your Desktop to get ready, once done you will see exact PC Boot Time of your windows.
Click on Know More to get the insight details of How fast is your Computer. As you can see in the screenshot below, Time taken to enter password is eliminated from total PC Boot Time. This is how i Check PC Boot Time for my windows and found that maximum time is taken to prepare the desktop for initial use.
How to Boost Your PC Startup Time
There are many different ways to increase PC Speed and ultimately it will also improve Windows Loading Time. One of the way is to use software’s like System Mechanic that improve PC Performance by removing clutter files and optimizing registry entries. Other way is to optimize Startup items from MSCONFIG. To do that click on the Start menu, and in the “Search programs and files” field, type in “MSConfig” and hit enter. Navigate to Start-up Tab, from that you can see all software and services that are starting with your system. Unmark the one that you feel are not necessary when your System boots and save the settings. To check i disabled four entries and again check PC Boot Time which is shown below
